Camila Cabello, also known as Karla Camila Cabello Estrabao, is a Cuban-American actress, singer, and songwriter born on March 3, 1997 in Coj mar, Havana, Cuba. She rose to fame as a member of the girl group Fifth Harmony, but established herself as a solo artist with collaborations such as "I Know What You Did Last Summer" with Shawn Mendes and "Bad Things" with Machine Gun Kelly, which reached number four on the US Billboard Hot 100. Cabello left Fifth Harmony in 2016 and released her debut solo single "Crying in the Club". Her father, Alejandro Cabello, was born in Mexico City and is Mexican. She has a younger sister named Sofia. Cabello gained American citizenship in 2008 and attended Miami Palmetto High School, but left in the 2012-2013 school year to pursue her singing career. She has a huge fan following on Instagram and has been dating Canadian singer Shawn Mendes since July 2019.
