
Sara Aliza Eisen, an American television journalist, is currently a part with CNBC. She serves as co-anchor on the channel's programs 'Squawkon the Street', as well as Closing Bell'. Although she's from Ohio but she didn't have a keen interest in markets and currencies during the college years. She interned at ForexTV.com when she was in school at New York University. This was where she gained the first glimpse of business news. In the following years, she completed an advanced degree in broadcast journalism at Northwestern University's Medill School of Journalism. She then did a four-month-long stint with Bloomberg TV in Hong Kong. After that, she returned to America and began her career in New York at Bloomberg. She was eventually a TV anchor. In December 2013, she was hired by CNBC as a correspondent. After working as co-anchor on 'Worldwide Exchange,' and Power Lunch', she was appointed by CNBC in December 2013. She then got the position in the year following Closing Bell in 2018. Eisen anchors 'Squawk On The Street since 2014. She is one of the most revered business journalists in the world today. Since joining CNBC, her primary concern has been the global news for consumers.
